Ratliff, City Manager CITY OF COPPELL 255 Parkway Coppell, TX. 75019 Reference: DeForest Road and Other Outstanding Issues - Villages of Coppell Dear Mr. Ratliff: It has come to my attention that Triland has been carrying on dialogue with the City of Coppell regarding undertakings or commitments with regard to improvements on DeForest Road. Please be advised that BDC Development Corporation, formerly known as Dimension/Brooks Corporation, is the record titleholder to the land which abuts DeForest Road. Being that these meetings, correspondence or conversations may involve matters which concern BDC Development Corporation, we do hereby put the City on formal notice that we have not consulted with Triland nor do we in any way authorize Triland, its employees and/or its principals to make commitments, obligations or undertakings of any kind whatsoever on our behalf. We would greatly appreciate being included in any discussions which involve development obligations of Triland regarding the Lakes of Coppell project and would further request that any outstanding development obligations regarding the Lakes of Coppell be communicated to us in that we, in fact, also are in the process of attempting to resolve several outstanding issues in regard to the development with Triland and Sunbelt Savings. Your cooperation and assistance in these matters would be greatly appreciated. Please govern yourself accordingly in keeping us advised.
