RE: Wrangler Drive Erosion Control and Construction Activities
Dear Mr. Caudill:
Today at 8:30 a.m., a meeting was held on Wrangler Drive to discuss GTE and it's progress related to
adjustments of their utility which may be in conflict with proposed improvements. I indicated to Tiseo
that the project had not been staked to determine if there would be any conflicts with GTE. However,
it is my understanding that Monday morning, February 8, 1999, Tiseo Paving will contact Mr. Gary
Castell with GTE to determine through excavation if any conflict may exist. The City of Coppell
understands that according to Tiseo Paving, no other Franchise Utility conflicts exist with other existing
Franchise Utilities.
Further discussion concerning Wrangler Drive and its progress was related to concerns that I have had
in the past with the drainage, barricade system and the detour. I had a discussion with Mr. Claude
Odinot of Tiseo Paving about providing proper drainage for run-off water, and that he needs to provide
siltation and erosion control for all existing and newly installed drainage systems and along properties
adjacent to Wrangler Drive. It is my understanding that rain is predicted for tomorrow.
Also I noticed that today's excavation activity was across a fire lane entrance and at Executive Drive. I
told Mr. Odinot that he needs to provide adequate service for ingress and egress to these locations and
all other driveways along Wrangler Drive.
The City of Coppell expects that these issues will be addressed no later than today. It is the City's
intention and we feel that it is Tiseo's intention to comply with the terms of the contract concerning
Wranger Drive. If we can be of further assistance please contact this office at 972-304-3679.
