Dear Rick:
The Villages of Coppell, Phase II project was discussed at the
January meeting of the Coppell M.U.D. No. 1 Board of Directors.
At this meeting, the Board directed Pierce-Lunsford to have all
items remaining on this contract completed as soon as possible.
A preliminary inspection by Coppell M.U.D. No. 1 and City of~
Coppell representatives has identified several items which need
to be completed by American Developers and Contractors before a
final inspection of the project can be scheduled. These items
include the following.-
1. Clean and flush Storm Sewer Line "A" of all sand, gravel
and other debris. Check all other storm sewer lines and
curb inlets and clean them of debris, if necessary.
2. Plumb the fire hydrant in front of Lot 31 on Andover Lane.
3. Lower the fire hydrant on the south side of Aberdeen Court
in accordance with standard construction details for the
City of Coppell.
4. Install blue stimsonite fire-lite reflectors in the center
of streets adjacent to each fire hydrant.
5. Paint all water valve caps in accordance with the City of
Coppell paint specifications.
6. Clean debris from all sanitary sewer manhole inverts.
Adjust rings and casting at top of all manholes, if
necessary, and Grout inside of riser.
With the exception of Item No. 4, unit prices for all items
listed above were included in your bid proposal to complete this
project dated October 5, 1987, or were assumed to be incidental
to the bid. Please submit a unit price to place blue fire-lite
reflectors for the seven hydrants constructed as part of this
contract. The Developer for this project, The Brooks Companies,

is in the process of replatting the subdivision for larger lots,
which may Change the proposed location for water and sanitary
sewer services. Therefore, the placement of meter yokes and
meter boxes for 3/4" water services will be deleted from this
contract, and completed by The Brooks Companies after acceptance
of the replat.
Please send me a schedule indicating when you can move a crew on
site to complete this project. We will recommend final payment
and release of retainage as soon as all work included in this
contract is complete and acceptable t.o all concerned parties.
