Re: Villages of Coppell, Phase 2
NDM Job No.: 84-10-054
Dear Steve:
Over the last couple of days, a number of issues have arisen regarding the
Villa§es of Coppell, Phase 2. At this time, we would like to pledge our coop-
eration in resolving these issues. Listed below, you will find the issues at
hand and our proposed solutions to them.
1. Issue: No barricade on MacArthur Blvd. at Allen Road.
proposed Solution: We will have in place at this intersection a barri-
cade within the next two (2) calendar days.
2. ~ssue: No street crossing permit for construction equipment on Warren
Drive.
~rouosed Solution: We request at this time that the City of Coppell
issue a permit that will allow us to have built a temporary earthen ramp
over Warren Drive, as shown on the attached plan. This ramp will extend
from right-of-way line to right-of-way lines, and will be a minimum of
20' wide. The ramp shall have a minimum thickness of not less than six
inches as measured from the top of curb. This ramp, if built, will
remain in use for approximately 7 working days from the date of con-
struction. Following the end of the hauling of earth from the stockpile
to the southeast end of Warren Drive, the ramp will be removed and the
street cleaned to the City's satisfaction.
3. Issue: No lot. grading permits issued.
Proposed Solution: We were not made aware of the City's required lot
grading fee at the time the Villages of Coppell, Phase 2, was replatted.
That aside, we have contacted Dale Jackson and are in the process
providing whatever documentation he may require to procure a permit. If
the assessed $175 fee discussed with Dale cannot be waived due to the
replat, then it will be paid.
