TXU's street light job for Sandy Lake has been sitting in the construction
queue since early 2000. The material was ordered at that time. The designer
who did the job departed about that time also and left some confusion about
the agreement between TXU and the City on what portion of the work the City
wanted to do. The TXU job originally did all the work, but I had since
received calls from a city contractor that they were going to do all the
civil (conduit and foundations), and visiting the jobsite over the years,
I've noticed what appeared to be street light conduit installed. I
contacted one of your inspectors, Larry Davis, a few days ago to determine
if the conduit was installed and if the the City wanted to install the
foundations. He refered me to another inspector, Campell, who is on
vacation until today. Once I confirm that the conduit is/is not in place, I
will release TXU crews to do the job. I will forward you a note as soon as
I talk to Mr. Campbell.

I'm trying to get an update on the street light installation along Sandy
Lake. TXU signed the contract several years ago. I sent a letter to Rick
Fielding but he passed it on to Reeves Pertain. I'm just trying to get a
time line.
On another matter, do you have any updated news on the proposed crosswalk
across the TXU property near Riverchase?
Your assistance in these matters would be appreciate. Thanks
