REMARKS:
1) Pier reinforcing verified to be correct in accordance with project plans and specifications,
unless noted otherwise.
2) These piers were drilled and belled on 11/9/01, but no concrete was placed due to heavy rain
and muddy site conditions. Holes were covered with plywood. Final depths and bell sizes were
rechecked and verified to be the same as initially drilled. Concrete was placed today, 11/12/01.
3) Required Depth is based upon existing grade at time of geotechnical investigation. Correct
bearing strata achieved, unless noted otherwise.
4) Initial Depth, Final Depth, and Top of Concrete Elevation, are relative to grade at time
piers were drilled. Contractor must furnish actual elevation, if required.
5) Driller found sand to be approximately 11.5' in this area. Per superintendent for Texas Unified,
other piers were stopped at approximately 11.0'.
