performed by the subcontractor at all times during construction.
Please address these concerns immediately by ensuring that a competent superintendent
is 9ssigned to the project on a full-time basis while work is being pe~o~ed.

Dear Mr. Tiseo:
There has been concern expressed at different times during the course of the project about
the lack of a responsible representative from Tiseo being present on the site to supervise
the work in progress, to discuss various issues related to the project with the City Inspector
and/or Engineer and to coordinate the ongoing construction activities. Many times the only
representative on the project site is a subcontractor. As you are aware, Section 3,
Paragraph 1.14 of the contract documents requires that the Contractor have on the project
at all times, as his agent, a competent superintendent. This paragraph further states that
the Superintendent and the Contractor shall be responsible for supervision of all work
performed by the subcontractor at all times during construction.
Please address these concerns immediately by ensuring that a competent superintendent
is assigned to the project on a full-time basis while work is being performed.
