As you know, I have continued to work diligently to try to acquire the right-of-way along Coppell
Road. In my recent efforts, I have convinced MI'. Callejo's attorney, Mr. Frank R. Jelinek, to
modify the deed such that it will be acceptable to the City of Coppell. I am enclosing a copy of
that deed. Paragraph 2 has been altered to allow 7 year,s for thc construction of Coppell Road.
Par&graph 3 has been altered to refer to thc property north of Minyard. At this point, as you
recall, thc right-of-way widens on the east side of Coppell Road to 20 additional feet. In addition,
thc future road will perhaps take a jog to the east, not requiring additional right-of-way on the
west side of the road. I think this is what Paragraph 3 refers to. In as much as there is avaitable
additional 20 feet east of Coppel[ Road at that point, I think this probably will be acceptable to thc
City and we can dispos~ of this matter as we had originally pl~mned
I am hoping this will satisfy your needs and wc cnn conclude this m~tter for all parties concerned.
