Dear Mr. Sims:
Thank you for meeting with us to discuss the H/kc and Bike Trail Run along Coppell
Road today. We are pleased to continue working with you to achieve a win/win situation
for all parties in the best interest of the citizens of CoppeH.
We are in asreement with you that the section proposed to be constructed down the east
side of Coppeli Road would be suf~ciently w~de at 6 feet due to the parallel nature of the
proposed trail and the existing Coppell roadway. A width of 12 feet to allow emergency
vehicle access would not he necessary in this case because of the proximity of Coppe[l
Road and the ability for emergency access vehicles to service the Hike and Bike Trail due
to the side by side adjacency.
Therefore, we would not object to the City constructin$ a connector trail as an alternative
solution in this location. In addition, we are willing to acknowledge this agreement and ,
acceptance by recording an amendment to the CCRs as part of the Homeowners
Association documents for the benefit of disclosure to future homeowners of the plans and
agreements we have discussed with you today.
We thank you for your help in clarifying and resolving this issue and we look forward to
being back on track to building high qualiF homes in the Villages of Cottonwood Creek
that you and the other citizens ct' Coppell will be proud o£ We know that this community
and your Bikeway Project will be a tremendous benefit to our neighbor, our community,
and the City of Coppell.
