Dear Mr. Patel:
I have just recently come on board with Grand Homes and have been given the
opportunity to build in Cottonwook Creek. My first order of business is to start construction of
two houses, one being the National Home of the year ( referred to as the Health House) and the
other is our first model.
Due to the delays in the completion of development, we are behind schedule. Both of
these houses are very, important to us, due to the fact that the Health House will be featured at
the National Home Builders convention in Dallas and on the front page of Home Magazine, as
well as viewed by approximately 60,000 visitors to the City of Coppell. And of course the other
house is our first model.
At,er talking to you and Larry Davis (of your office), I have a list of items that need to be
addressed as soon as possible, so that the subdivision can be accepted by the city. I will be
working very closely with Richard Hovas of Tipton engineering and Jean Boney of Site Concrete
to correct and complete these items. I hope to have the subdivision to the point where Larry
Davis can do a walk through of the development by the end of next week.
Which brings me to the point of this letter. Seeing as how the development is almost to
the stage of acceptance and our building of these two homes will not interfere with any further
construction, I respectfully request the early release of lots 8 and 10, block C, so that I may
obtain the building permits needed to start construction. I have attached a copy of the plat
showing where these two lots are located.
