Gentlemen:
We are paying herewith the roadway impact fee in the amount of $50,445 in protest. It is
our position that we are building certain improvements including a 48" reinforced concrete
pipe for the benefit of Coppell Road and its associated drainage requirements. We believe
we should receive a credit of our costs against this roadway impact fee, however, we have
elected to make payment to the City at this time in order to mitigate further delays and
loss of time on construction of our project.
