The improvements to the creek involved reclaiming the flood fringe by filling. This work has now been completed and we wish to request a Letter of Map Revision from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) so that the filled area will be removed from the flood fringe shown on the City of Coppell Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM)· Prior to beginning construction on the Project, we submitted our hydraulic data to FEMA with a request for a Letter of Belief concerning the proposed improvements. Please find enclosed a copy of the letter of transmittal which accompanied that submittal for your information. The enclosed material combined with our previous submittal will provide FEMA with the information necessary to process a Letter of Map Revision. Our current submittal consists of the following items: "As-built" Grading Plan for the project showing elevations along the fill and the 100-year and 500-year flood boundaries. A copy of the BEC-2 computer run of the "as-built" condition on Cottonwood Branch using the 10, 50, 100 and 500-year storm discharges. As you are aware, all requests for letters of map revision must be endorsed by the community.
