A-Letter of Approval for the proposed project from the City of Coppe11, Texas. Our HEC:2 analysis was developed by combining the original HEC-2 run on the creek done by the Corps of Engineers in 1978 vith the revision of the lo-er reach done by a consultant which was completed in 1982. The 1982 revision of the Corps' HEC-2 run ended downstream of this property, so it was necessary for us to combine the two runs in order to determine the revision's affect on our tract. We inserted a field-surveyed section between Sections B and C, shown as Section BB on our exhibit, in order to more clearly define the profile of the creek. We are proposing to reclaim a small section of the flood fringe on Denton Creek which lies within this property. This area has also been shown on our exhibit. We respectfully request that FENA review our hydraulic analysis and provide us a Letter of Belief stating that the agency has no opposition to the proposed project. Upon comple- tion of the construction of the improvements, we will request a Letter of Nap Revis£on so that the filled area can be removed from the flood fringe shown on the FIRM Nap. We would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. If you should have any questions or desire additional informa- tion, please do not hesitate to call on me. Sincerely, DAVID B. NcCARVER, P.E.
