In response to your call and questions yesterday concerning the plans for the water line
improvements on the referenced project, we offer the following information:

The top of the proposed water line should typically be constructed at a depth of 5.5
feet below the proposed top-of-curb.
There is a grade break in the proposed street grade at Sta. 2 + 50 and there should
be a corresponding grade break or vertical curve in the water line profile at this
location.
There is not a grade break at Sm. 4 +50. The profile for the water line should
remain at a 0.63% grade from Sm. 2+50 until the transition for the tie-in to the
existing line (approx. Sta. 8 +00).
The 12"x 6" tee shown in profile at Sta. 5 + 10 (sheet 20) is not needed and should
be deleted.
