COMMENTS: Ken- Following is a copy of a letter we received from Lone Star Pipeline in response to the final plans for Wrangler Drive. It does not appear that we will need to make any changes to the plans based upon these comments. However, you may want to respond to their comments, especially those related to future drainage improvements by others. Please give me a call to discuss. Thanks. Teague Nail and Perkins, Inc, Re: Wrangler Drive Improyement Project (Freeport to Beltline)Paving, Drainage and Water Lines / Line W8 (10") R/W 5 & 6 Coppell, Tx. A review of the improvements to Wrangler Drive drawings dated 4/9/98 in Coppall, Texas indicates the following concerns. , The paving portion from Beltline to Freeport Dr. show improvements to Wrangler Dr. east to west. Enterprise Dr. and Freeport Dr. existing will be improved. We travel east to west down Wrangler Dr. on the North side and cross both Enterprise and Freeport Dr. The main concern is that we maintain at least 30" of cover for the length of the route. The drainage plan brings up these concerns as to the best plan of action. The inlet leads listed below that extend north to the edge of the rd. right-of-way may cause problems at later dates. These depth angles could conflict with the depth of our pipe at these locations as we require 18" clearance above or below the pipe for all utility crossings. 1. Station no. 1+75/30" RCP & Plug 2. Station no. 5+74.17/30" RCP & Plug 3. Station no: 9+87.49/30" RCP & Plug 4. Station no. 18+75 / 18" RCP & Plug 5. Station no. 23+74.50 / 30" RCP & Plug 6. Station no. 43+22.78 / 2-6'x3' Box Culvert & Plug These locations may or may not have an impact on the depth of our pipeline to maintain our clearance requirements and would have to be Iooked at on an individual basis. The concern is if these are to be handled by individual property owners who will need them once the property is purchased or leased and it will be their responsibility to get the our gas line adjusted. We could have multiple change outs involved over the next few years and could it not be relocated now and the cost adjusted to each property once purchased. MAY-26-1998 12:20 TEAGUE NALL AND PERKINS 8175562813 P.0~/0~ Keeping in mind once improvements go in the cost to relocate will be higher for each location. · The water line improvements proposed don't look to impact us. Requirements are that all crossings maintain 18" clearance above or below our pipeline and that they do not parallel within the pipeline easement. Please note concerns and call if we can be of further assistance on this, Thank you. (972) 579-3740 (972) 579-3744 Sincerely, Randy J. Lash cc: W.D. Rudd TOTAL P.03
