Dear Ken:
I received your May 1st letter regarding the Wrangler Road project and was pleased to see
that we came in a little under budget. With respect to your request for prepayment of
roadway improvement costs, as mentioned in my previous correspondence, Catellus plans
on paying for its prorata share of costs with P.I.D. funds. I am not certain we can access
P.I.D. funds without an actual invoice from the contractors. From the city' s standpoint, I
am certain your primary concern is that you will be reimbursed for the work. I trust we
should be able to get the city comfortable with the availability of funds for the project, and
to that end, perhaps we could contact the city' s bond counsel to discuss the logistics.
