Ken-
I received a phone call from Ed Bell Construction this aRemoon during which I became
aware that we had inadvertently omitted the quantities for the conswuction of the temporary
HMAC pavement transition at Sta. I7+84 from the Unit Price Bid Schedule. Ed Bell
Construction was assuming that the temporary asphalt work was a subsidiary item. This
work should have been included in the quantities for Pay Items No. II-12, 11-13 & II-14.
I am recommending that the following Addendure No. 2 be faxed today to those who have
picked-up plans in order to clarify and correct this issue. Please review this information and
let me know how you would like to proceed.
