Denial As part of the development of the Vistas of Coppell various easements were required. Two of the easements are from the Denton County Levee Improvement District: one for a drainage easement and one for a recreational easement on the south side of Vistas of Coppell which contains the Hike and Bike Trail. The other easement is for the right-of-way dedication for Forest Hill Drive that connects Vistas of Coppell to MacArthur Blvd. The dedication of all these easements was a requirement of the platting of the property. Typically easements are processed by City staff without Council involvement. However, each of these easements are structured such that they require the Mayor's signature. Staff recommends approval of this agenda item authorizing the Mayor to sign the easements and will be available to answer questions at the Council meeting.
