Dear Michael:
Per your request and a request from Mickey Harper, Director of Maintenance at the Coppell
Independent School District, we are providing the following breakdown of work quantities for the
proposed driveway improvements referenced above. We have also provided an opinion of
probable cost for these improvements, based upon the most recent estimate which we sent to the
City.
CISD's SHARE OF IMPROVEMENTS:
1. Remove Existing Concrete Curb 67 L.F.
2. Remove Existing Concrete Driveway 181 S.Y.
3. 6" Reinforced Concrete Driveway 248 S.Y.
4. Stop Bar 25 L.F.
5. Directional Arrow Pavement Marking 5 Each
6. Word "ONLY" Pavement Marking 2 Each
7 Type P-7W Traffic Buttons 6 Each
8. Type P-15W Traffic Buttons 6 Each
9. Type P-117Y Traffic Buttons 16 Each
10. Roadside Sign Assembly 3 Each

There are also at least two (2) additional items of work which might be impacted by the increased
scope of work related to the subject driveway improvements. These two (2) items are more
difficult to quantify either because they are being measured as a lump sum or because they are
being considered incidental to other pay items in the contract. These items include:
1. Restoration of Parkways & Yards (lump sum pay item);
2. Adjustment of Existing Irrigation System (incidental to the Contract)
The cost associated with these items is not included in the opinions of probable cost shown on the
previous page.
