Grading Plan Review Comments
Dear David:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the grading plans for Lot 3R, Block G of Vista
Ridge Addition. We have no comments on the grading plans as submitted, however, there are
several issues that need to be resolved prior to the beginning of grading on this site.
1. You are showing a stabilized construction entrance off of SH 121. You will need to provide a
permit from TxDOT to construct access driveway facilities on highway right-of-way. I have
enclosed a copy of the appropriate permit form for your use.
2. The construction entrance is being located at the approximate location of a future street cut
onto SH 121. Therefor, you will also need permission from the City of Lewisville, as that
portion of the highway lies within the City of Lewisville.
3. The early grading permit along with a check for inspection fees in the amount of 2% of the
cost of the grading work should be provided to this office.
Once you have completed the above items, please submit three copies of the plans to the
Engineering Dept. for our use, and as many as you need on the job site so that they can be
