ST9801-CS0008144 August 14, 2000 (letter sent to 61 property owners) RE: Coppell Road Reconstruction (ST 98-01) The contractor is in the final stages of completing the section of Coppell Road between Sandy Lake Road and Parkway Blvd. One item that still needs to be completed is a 10- foot Hike & Bike Trail proposed to be on the east side of Coppell Road. The 10 foot Hike & Bike Trail is to be constructll in the 17-foot parkway between Coppell Road and the Villages of Cottonwood Creek Section V screening wall. In order to construct this trail, 17 Crape Myrtles must be removed (see attached exhibi0. The City has directed the contracwr to remove the Crape Myrtles and begin the installation of the Hike & Bike Trail. After the project is complete, the City will replace the plants with 17 new Crape Myrtles during the planting season later this year or early next year.
