Ken,
I wanted to detail our conversation this morning. I spoke with Grayson Wales-Centex Homes yesterday
on the stakes that were put inside my backyard to "stake" my fence for the 4' X 32' variance that he
spoke with you on many months ago.
I have two Plat Maps of my home...one is showing a revision date of 3-2-00...this version takes off a
"tremendous piece" of my backyard! The latest Plat Map revision date that I have is 7-5-00. The latest
Plat Map shows that it reduces my useable backyard by 88 square feet or a 4' X 32' variance.
Would you make this revised Plat Map available to Mike Martin-City of Coppell Engineer. When Mike and
Gary Sieb were at my home last week, they did an "estimated staking" of my fence from the outside of
the yard. Their "estimated staking" does not match up with where the stakes actually are inside my yard!
In other words, their staking reduces my usable backyard by much more than 88 square feet.

Mike,
Since I spoke with you last week, we have gone back in my records and found the revised Plat Map for my
home at 701 Lyndsie Drive in Coppell. (Lot 15; Block G Vistas of Coppell Phase 2C) The Plat is
originally dated 6-23-99 with a revision date of 3-02-00 (Which is where I think that you "marked off" my
fence outside when you came to my house) My same Plat Map shows a revision on 7-5-00 which only
takes off a total of 88 square feet! Your "estimated placement" of my fence would take off much more! On
the revised Plat Map dated 7-5-00, my backyard fence only starts to veer into my yard at an estimated
footage of 31 feet walking from the back of my house towards the alley. What I am saying is that where
the fence is currently staked right now, inside my yard, is where we want it to stay. We do not want
anymore of our backyard taken than we have to! FYI...The Plat Map that we are looking at was done by
a Registered Professional Land Surveyor

I live at 701 Lyndsie Ddve in The Vistas of Coppell.
My home is one of the corner lot homes that had it's
fence incorrectly placed. The City of Coppell has
been out to my home and put stakes in my
backyard...about four months ago. I have been advised
to contact you again to make absolutely sure that
these stakes are in the correct location since we will
be having the fence moved fairly soon.
