Jim:
Here is the preliminary Bid Tabulation. The Iow bidder for the most part is
in line with our estimate with one very large exception. Please look at Base
Bid Item #6. TUCI was $322,000 over our estimate of $303,000. If calculate
the mean for the other bidders, their average would be $304,000. If TUCI
brought their bid for item #6 in line with the others by reducing it by
$322,000, their total base bid would be $2,860,000 (3.4% over the estimate)
and total bid including alternates would be $3,048,797 (0.38% over the
estimate).
