Vistas of Coppell Phase 3 - Sheet 14 Box Culvert
Dear Mr. Mitchell:
As per your conversation of November 20, 1998 with the City Engineer, Ken Griffin, it is my
understanding that the following agreements were made.
· Sheet 14 will be considered not approved until the City is satisfied that all safety issues hax~e
been addressed pertaining to the box culvert (refer to the attached sheets).
· It is my understanding that the culvert length will be shortened to 50 feet, extending only to
the right-of-way line of Lyndsie Drive and saving approximately six feet from the proposed
culvert length.
· The headwall will be extended vertically to match grade with the adjacent sidewalk and
ADA-compliant hand rails will be installed to protect pedestrians from any slopes related to
this channel. Handrails will be required on both sides of Lyndsie Drive (see attached figure}°
· The remainder of the Vistas of Coppell Phase 3 will be evaluated based on City comments
pertaining to your second engineering plan review.
Per my conversation with Garreth Campbell, construction inspector for the City, it is also my
understanding that a pre-construction meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 2,
1998. This meeting is subject to plan approval (except for Sheet 14 as described above) and
payment of all impact fees and construction inspection fees. If you should have any comments or
