The approved preliminary plat specifies that deceleration will be constructed at Park
Highlands Drive. However, further investigation has lead to a recommendation to relocate
the proposed deceleration lane to Natches Trace, as this is the first street serving this
development. This location is consistent with the placement of deceleration lanes for
previous phases of Vistas Of Coppell, and should serve the development more effectively.
