RE: Warren Ct., DeForest Overlay Projectf
We have Just received the estimate for the consultant work order to
have the information released which had been previously gathered by
Ginn, Inc.. The cost of $240.00 is the estimate which would have
to be funded through the project which was approved by City Council
for a total amount of $50,000.00.
This information is required to avoid duplication of efforts and to
enlighten staff on the details which had been investigated previously
by Ginn, Inc. with involvement of Dallas County R & B Dist. 1.
Questions which should be answered by this information are: 1) Has
the necessary right-of-way been obtained to construct the culdesac
at Warren Ct.?, 2), How will the court be drained/grade?, 3) Is the
culdesac to be full depth asphalt or asphalt on a prepared subgrade?,
4) Will any grades need to be changed on DeForest or drainage restored
or improved to insure the longevity of the rehabilitation?.
The County could and has assisted in advisory capacities on several
projects, but since they per.form the aspects of rehabilitation, they
do not have specifications ~hich we would require for bidding.
With this information, we can procede to prepare specifications for
bidding. The consultant work. order will take one week to complete
after au[horization.
