We propose to perform tk/s work on the bas/s of 2.3 times salary cost plus//
re/mbursement for direct non-labor expenses, with a not-l~-exr, eed amount of
Salary cost is defined by thc ASCE Manual and Report No. 45 as thc cost of salaries
(including sick leave, vacation, hol/day and incentive pay applicable thereto) of pfindpah,
engineers, technicians, draftsmen, stenographers, surveyors, clerks, etc., for the time d/re~ly
chargeable to the projecg plus unemployment, excise, and payroll taxes; and contributions
for social security, employment compensation insurance, retirement, medical, and insurance
benefits, Th/s proposed budget will not be exceeded without written authorization from
the C/ty of Copper Department of Publ/c Works.
Excluded from the scope of the work are thc following:
1. Full-t/me Construct/on Inspection.
2. hsuance of a Certificate of Completion statin~ that all work was performed'
in accordance with the plato and spec/fications (urtles~ full.t/me construction
observation is provided).
3. Assistance to the Owner as an expert witm~ in any litigation with third
parties, arising from the construct/on of ~ project.
4. Appearance before regulatory agencies.
5. Preparation of any special reports.
