RE: Warren Addition
Dear Mr. Warren:
This letter is written as a follow-up to our phone conversation of February 17, 1994. As stated,
while reviewing the Municipal Utility District (MUD) map in preparation for a MUD task force
meeting, I noticed that your property had not been annexed into the MUD. While the services
to the lots fronting on Warren Crossing have been installed, the property itself has not been
annexed. Please be advised that building permits cannot be issued on this subdivision until such
time as the property has been annexed into the MUD.
You should contact Mr. Paul Phy at 691-9448 to start the process of gaining MUD's consent
to be annexed into the district. Once the MUD has granted their consent for the annexation of
the subdivision, the City can pass an ordinance authorizing the MUD to annex the property.
At this time, the MUD has stated that they have a concern whether they have adequate capacity
in their system to allow any additional annexations. The task force will be evaluating the system
and looking at all alternatives to resolve capacity problems. Therefore, I am unsure whether or
not the MUD will be in a position to allow your property to be annexed at this time.
If you should have any questions or need any additional information please feel free to contact
me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E.
