Next Progress Meeting (Tentative): June 29, 2000 Meeting Minutes: Coppell Road Reconstruction ProFess Meeting Date: June 15, 2000 Attendees: Gary Pryor, Robert Weber, Larry Davis, Lanny AHison, Kent Collins Meeting minutes recorded by Kent Collins with the City of Coppell · GTE has been on the project to address the empty manhole still in conflict with the east-west paving operation · GTE is still in conflict with one curb inlet near Westminster · Box culvert/channel contractor has continued to work on the box culvert, working from the entrance end toward the channel · Decision on box culvert/channel issues needs to be made by Monday, June 19th or contractor will have to move off of job · East-west paving operation continues to progress · Ed Bell was reminded to stabilize the driveway approaches full-depth as they are being prepared for pavement; Ed Bell plans on using lime-treated material · Transition area at west end of project needs to be stabilized prior to placing asphalt · Ed Bell provided 5-sack mix design for TXI concrete; City has asked that designs for other mixes be provided · City asked for a revised schedule for completion of the east-west portion · Ed Bell was informed that all items pertaining to paving need to be completed prior to opening the east-west section to traffic (buttons, striping, guardrail, transition, etc.) · The City has approved closure of Coppell Road from Sandy Lake Road to Parkway Blvd. · The City has approved one-way traffic for construction between Parkway and The Mansions · Ed Bell needs to submit a revised schedule and traffic plan to the City · The City will send out notifications on the closures to residents in the next week · Ed Bell still wants full compensation for the asphalt detour around the box culvert · Ed Bell claims that a 4' bust in the water line design near the box culvert contributed to the contractor hitting the line; payment for the repair of the line is still an issue · Ed Bell will be submitting a letter addressing all outstanding time and money disputes The City With A Beautiful Future PRE-CONSTRUCTION ATTENDANCE SHEET PROJECT: DATE: P.O.
