Date: Fri, Jun 15, 2001 2:20 PM Subject: Attn.: Mike Martin; Vistas of Coppell Hi Mike, I'm not very patient with phone tag (which I tried yesterday and today to reach you), thus if you could please respond to this e-mail, I'd appreciate it. Keith Madigan of the Vistas of Coppell had spoken to you previously about a concern he has with the alleyway behind his home. It seems that vehicular traffic making the sharp turn around his property often cut corners and leave deep ruts in the turf and allegedly damages installed spinkler piping. I have a couple of questions for you in this regard: 1. Do you recall from your conversation with him whether the damage was to his private property, city easement or our HOA's common area? 2. This may not be your area, but I'll ask it anyway: What obligation, if any, does the city of Coppell have if the damage was caused by trash collection trucks either to a) private property, b) HOA common area, or c) city easement (which the homeowner is obligated to maintain). 3. Does Engineering consider the angle .of approach when designing alleyways? Thanks in advance for your help, Dean Palmer ~ HOA President, Vistas of Coppell
