REQUEST: Requesting preliminary plat approval of Waterside Estates APPLICANT: Triland Investment Group represented by Lynn Kadleck GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The applicant is proposing to develop 224 single family homes on 75.3127 acres within the Lakes of Coppell project. STAFF EVALUATION: Recommendation of approval of this preliminary plat is subject to the attached comments from the City Engineer. The applicant should also address the following: 1. No access will be allowed from those lots that border Samuel and MacArthur Boulevard. 2. Landscaping and screening details should be presented for review. 3. Verify street names with the Post Master of the U.S. Post Office in Coppell. 4. Will the lots adjacent to existing alleys have access to them? PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION: The P & Z Commission recommended approval (5-0) of this preliminary plat with the stipulation that the exclusion of alleys be made a permanent part of the file.
