In our last meeting wc had discussed beginning the advertisement for Wrangler Drive on this
Friday, March 27, 1998. This may still be a possibility, however, I need your input on
several issues in order to complete the plans and contract documents. I would also prefer
to review the final plans with you before wc run the bid documents to make sure that all
items have been addressed satisfactorily. If we arc going to begin the first advertisement on
Friday, the Notice to Bidders probably needs to bc to the newspaper today or tomorrow.
I am all for delaying the advertisement a week or two in order to allow us an opportunity, to
meet and discuss the outstanding issues and to present a complctc set of contract documents
to the contractors, that we are both satisfied with. However, if the Friday advertisement is
critical to the City's schedule, please let me know and we will do our best to have the
contract documents ready.
