Kent,
Met with Jerry and there are no particular concerns with the phasing changes. I did notice there are 3 water line
crossings that are not on their schedule:
1. Water service crossing at Sta. 48+70.81
2. 8” water line crossing at Sta. 53+54.11 (Burns Street)
3. 8” water line crossing at Sta. 66+95.90
There were some questions that came up about the Contractors means and methods pertaining to tie-ins, chlorination,
flushing, testing, and sampling that we can discuss with the contractor at the appropriate time before the water line
work starts. If you have any questions please let me know.

I believe the discussion was that if it is, a bridge pier could be adjusted to accommodate without any significant
problems. But, perhaps we put that burden on them to verify before they proceed down this path.

My only question is can they verify that the existing waterline is not in the way of any of the bridge piers. That is a big
hurdle.
