ST9601-CS 980212 Coppell, Texas 75019 February 12, 1998 Michael Jones, P.E. Teague Nall and Perkins 2001 W. Irving Blvd. Irving, TX 75061 Re: Wrangler Drive (Project ST96-01) Dear Mr. Jones: Subsequent to our meeting on Tuesday, February 10, 1998, I discovered one copy of the Wrangler Construction Plans had been floating through the office and had various minor comments on it. This letter is provided to make you aware of those comments so that they can be incorporated into the final plans. 1. All button striping, signs, etc. should be addressed in the specifications. 2. A brick paver band should be provided on Wrangler Drive at the intersection of Freeport Parkway. 3. The cross-section A-A on the hot mix should be 2" Type B and 2" Type D. 4. All intersections should have ADA ramps provided for future sidewalk construction. 5. The 4' concrete valley across the school's driveway should be 8' in width for a smoother ride. 6. The driveway opposite Crestside Drive should have a 30' radius as opposed to a 25' radius. 7. All stubouts of RCP should state that they are to be plugged. 8. Any lateral storm drain laterals at low-points should be a minimum 21" in diameter. I apologize for not being aware of these comments during our meeting, however, if possible they should be included into the final plans submitted to the City. If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact this office at your convenience. Sincerely, /~q Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E. Director of Engineering and Public Works kgriffin/teague.docdm
