Activities Observed:Masonry, mortar, grout and reinforcing steel
Ambient Temperature:The temperature during today's masonry activities was observed to be 83 degrees
Fahrenheit. The ambient temperature over the last 24 hours ranged from 70 to 90 degrees
Fahrenheit.
Mortar:Type N mortar used in the masonry construction was observed to have been mixed in
accordance with project specifications.
Grout:Approximately 9 cubic yards of 3000-psi grout supplied by Contractor (Mix ID: Spec
Mix) was placed using low lift methods
Weather Protection:Weather protection consisted of Working inside of warehouse.
Drawings Referenced:S-203/Slab Foundation, S4-00/General Notes, dated 05/01/17
Summary:Today's masonry activities were observed to have been completed in general accordance
with project documents. Results were reported to Juan Hernandez w/KBD Group at the
completion of today's activities.
Additional Comments:Installed metal embeds in compliance with blueprints. General cleanup of entire work
area. Moving scaffolds to clean up work area.
