Paving Subgrade Stabilization
Waters Edge, Phase II
Sandy Lake and McArthur
Coppell, Texas
Gentlemen:
On May 5, 1994, two samples of the paving subgrade were obtained
and tested for Atterberg Limits [Plasticity Index (PI)]. Four, six
and eight percent cement was added to the sample with the highest PI
and tested again for Atterberg Limits. Test results are shown on.
Plate 1. Based on the test results, six percent cement, 27 pounds
per square yard, is recommended to stabilize the paving subgrade.
We trust this is the information you need. If you have any
questions, do not hesitate to call.
