We can’t build that without changing other things. The typical has 1’ of HMAC underlay behind the curb line. Removing
this changes the foundation our paving machine would run on.

Is the intention to just cut a trench and put this in it? Are we just going to put this against the back of the curb and
backfill against it? Will this require any special backfill like aggregate?
