Construction Plans
Dear Ms. Hennessey:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
1. Provide a plan sheet showing proposed left turn lane.
2. On-site and off-site drainage area maps should be provided on a separate sheet showing drainage
flow.
There appears to be a discrepancy with the drainage area provided in these plans with the drainage
area shown in the Denton Tap Road construction plans. Also, when determining the 100 year Q,
0.95 should be used for coefficient in all areas zoned commercial.
4. On grading plans show proposed location of fence.
5. Provide a note on plans stating that Rick Wieland, with the Parks and Recreations division, shall be
contacted before removal of trees and disruption of irrigation services in Denton Tap Road median.
6. Provide a manhole at the end of sanitary sewer line "A".
7. A representative of Lone Star Gas Company must be notified regarding the temporary easement for
construction of sanitary sewer line.
8. Th.e driveway width for one-way traffic does not comply with the City's Subdivision Ordinance. The
ordinance calls for 15 foot for one-way traffic.
9. On plat, show width of storm sewer easement, not centerline.
There are various other minor comments throughout these plans. Once these comments have been addressed,
the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City of review. If you should have any questions
