This e-mail serves as permission given to Texas Sterling to excavate over the joint Telco duct bank
owned by Zayo/Level 3/Century Link in three areas that drill shafts conflict with existing locations. This
City project involves the replacement of the Bridge across Grapevine Creek located north of Airline Dr
on Freeport Pkwy. See attachment of Bridge Pier work locations.
At each of the three proposed pier locations the minimum depth is approximately 17’ or greater. At
the on-site meeting, Texas Sterling stated they would assist with the excavation in these 3 locations
and remove approximately a 10 foot of cover and 10’ in width over each of the pier locations and
the remaining cover would be removed by Zayo’s contractor.
Future Telecom, Zayo’s contractor has agreed to pay Texas Sterling’s invoice for work as completed,
based on Time and Materials for work they perform in this duct location effort.
Zayo will have an inspector on site during the excavation as a precaution and acceptance of the liability

of work directed on behalf of Zayo.

Please call Eric Giebelhaus and then send him an e-mail, stating, Zayo has authorized Future Telecom to pay
Texas Sterling’s invoice for work as completed, based on Time and Materials.
