I just realized I may not have gotten back to you about your inquiry. I reached out to Marcus Marion who is overseeing
this project and he said the medians will be affected during the reconstruction project but he didn’t know when it would
start. Marcus’ cell number is 469-576-7707 if you would like to call him and discuss your plans but it does sound like
holding off on any major landscaping re-do would be advised.
While I have you, do you know if the fountains in the ponds along Freeport can be turned back on now that the water
levels are back up?

Thank Marcus. I have her e-mail. I’ll e-mail her and let her know and copy you. Do you have an estimated time on
when the area north of Bethel will begin? I believe Duke has the median from Bethel to the Container Store.

I tried calling and it just kept ringing. Eventually it just hung up. After speaking with my boss, he say to just cut what can
be cut, but eventually it will all be removed and replaced.

Hi Marcus,
Christy Walters with Duke Realty called yesterday to get some information on the Freeport Rd project. Duke maintains
the landscaping in the medians on Freeport south of Bethel and she is looking at replacing some of the vegetation but
didn’t want to do it until she verifies that the medians will be unaffected by the road construction. If the medians will be
affected, she will wait until after the road construction. Would you be able to call her to let her know the scope of the
work? Her number is 972-361-6725. She is a good egg.
