Re: Response to the letter from Texas Sterling Construction dated October 24, 2018, regarding the
Water Line O services, Connect to Existing
Dear Mr. Giebelhaus:
Thank you for meeting with us this afternoon to discuss the Connect to Existing Services at Water Line
“O”. Per our discussion today, The City of Coppell and TSC have agreed that the Connect to Existing line
item will be billed at a rate of $2,725.00 each at Water Line “O”. On the monthly invoice, the $2,725.00
each will be broken as follows: $1,050 will be billed to the existing Connect to Existing C-60 pay item and
the balance of $1,675.00 will be billed to pay item X-1 for water line contingency for each Connect to
Existing Services connection.
There are 6 services on Water Line “O” that will fall under the Connect to Existing condition. It is also
agreed that although the plans show 2” PVC, the City Standard detail remains copper. Copper line was
submitted and approved and is the material to be used, per our discussion.
