The project is scheduled to achieve Substantial Completion on October 25, 2019.
2. CRITICAL PATH:
Currently the Critical Path is on the roadwork utility conflict activities in Phase 2.
3. MONTHLY SCHEDULE NARRATIVE:
All work on subgrade to make ready for paving is still suspended as of August 3, 2018 due to conflicts with existing
utilities. Towards the end of the month work continued on Southwestern for WL-O FH and Tie-ins
4. MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS or WORK PERFORMED DURING THE MONTH:
WL-O on Southwestern is currently being tested up to STA. 14+42.
Frontier copper conflict at proposed bridge drill shafts has been relocated
City of Coppell provided a redesign of the bridge at ABUT 1 for wing wall drill shaft
5. AREAS OF CONCERNS, POTENTIAL ISSUES, or DELAYS AFFECTING THE PROJECT:
• Conflict with Zayo near Wrangler with subgrade installation.
• Conflict with Spectrum near from Southwestern to Bethel. (Scheduled to be clear within 3 weeks)
• Conflict with Frontier and the excavation required for paving between Southwestern and Bethel. Met with Frontier on
8/27/2018. They indicated they should be starting work to lower or relocate this line within the next week
• WL-O tie-in to 24” existing pipe at STA. 15+90. Plans to existing 24” pipe have been redesigned and materials are
currently be manufactured. Estimated lead time is approximately 3 weeks.
• Substantial rain days has delayed work on bridge drill shafts.
6. CHANGES/EDITS TO THE SCHEDULE:
• Pushed out all utility conflicts to 11/25/2018.
7. WEATHER DELAYS:
• 10/8, 10/09, 10/12, 10/15-10/19, 10/24 no work due to extensive rain.
