Re: Freeport Parkway - Closure
On Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 8:00 PM Freeport Parkway will closed from Southwestern
Boulevard to Airline Drive. The purpose of this closure is to install bridge beams for the new Freeport
bridge. This is necessary to maintain a safe environment for the workers as well as the traveling
public.
Freeport Parkway will be reopened by 6:00 AM on Friday, January 11, 2019.
Attached is the traffic detour route.
Southbound Freeport traffic will be detoured east on Southwestern to Beltline. Then on Beltline
south to Airline and then west back to Freeport.
Northbound Freeport traffic will be detoured east on Airline to Beltline. Then north on Beltline to
Southwestern and then west back to Freeport.
