Dear Mr. Griffin,
This letter is intended to clarify the involvement of Kimley-Horn on the two projects I
have working in Coppeil. Kirnley-Horn contracted with C.O.A. over 2 years ago for the
land planning and civil engineering drawings for the Windsor Estates project. The design
presented by' Kimley-Horn did not work well from a hydrology standpoint. At that time
Kimley-Horn did not have an on staff hydrologist. I felt it would be in my best interest to
contract with a fu~m that had both hydrologists and civil engineers on staff. That is the
sole reason Halff and Associates redesigned and resubmitted the projects.
Kimley-Horn has no knowledge of the projects being submitted for your approval.
