Box 478 F'.'Je.~ : Coppell, Texas 75019 The City With A Beautiful Future ---- 214-462-0022 September 25, 1987 Jack McInnish 904 DeForest Road Coppell, Texas 75019 Dear Mr. McInnish: Based upon a complaint received from a representative of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and a subsequent investigation, you are in violation of Coppell Code of Ordi- nances, Section 9-9-1 regulating landfill activities. "It shall be unlawful for any person to deposit garbage, trash, rubbish, discarded building material, waste from building sites.., upon any public or private premises within the corporate limits of the City". Further, "It shall be unlawful for any person owning or being in charge of property within the City to allow such property to be used as a landfill without express authority from the City Council and the issuance of a permit by the City. This provision does not however, apply to the use of fill composed of dirt, sand and gravel". Upon receipt of this, you are requested to cease any further landfill activity on your property. At such time you can demonstrate compliance with a permitted reclamation project authorized by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or the Coppell Floodplain Administrator, you are directed to remove the accumulated bricks, concrete, rebar, observed on your property at 904 DeForest Road.
