I hope your holidays were special and restful to help you prepare for a busy year. I talked with Ken Griffin before
the holidays and this letter is the result of that phone conversation. In September, Woodridge Homeowners
Association (WHA) sent you a report on the condition of the Woodridge Channel in the Woodridge subdk4sion.
Ken and I had a vet,w good conversation on the subject in early December. At that time Ken prox4ded WHA with
information on the Storm Water Management Study and information concerning the Sandy Lake Expansion
project. The Woodridge Channel is included in the Storm Water Management Study, but WHA is concerned
because of the amount of projects to be completed first in front of the channel, and the fact that fnnding does
not exist at this time for the channel project. Because of this uncertainty, WHA would like the city to consider
including the Woodridge Channel in the funding for the Sandy Lake Expansion. Part of the channel is already
included in the expansion and the additional channel could be completed at that time. Please refer to the original
report WHA sent you and you will see that this channel is in need of serious repair which we feel is hampering prol>
