Re: Woodridge Street Lighting Project
Dear Ms. Fess:
Please find enclosed copies of the latest correspondence on
the above referenced project. In August 1985, Mayor Duggan
stated that he had been assured by the Lomas & Nettleton
Development Company that they would be willing to donate as
much as $7,500.00 toward this project. After reviewing the
scope of work required to install the twelve lights, TP&L
estimates that the total preliminary cost of these
improvements will be approximately $3,719.00 (see enclosed
letter).
TP&L will be sending you a contract agreement for the
installation of the twelve lights and appurtenances. During
the interim, we would greatly appreciate a letter of
commitment from Lomas and Nettleton acknowledging their
intent to execute the contract which would cover the
installation and materials cost for these lights. This
letter will enable TP&L and the Woodridge Homeowners
Association to start the next phase, which is procuring
easements needed to install the conduit runs for these lights
(see enclosed letter).
