Dear Jim:
As you know, I have continued to work diligently to try to squire the right-of-way along Coppal
Road. In my recent efforts, I have convinced Mr. Callejo's attorney, Mr. Frank R. Jolinek, to
modify the deed such that it will be acceptable to the City of Coppoll. I am enclosing a copy of
that deed. Paragraph 2 has been altered to _allow 7 years for the construction. of Coppell Road.
Paragraph 3 has been altered to refer to the property n6rth of Minyard. At this point, as you
recall, the fight-of-way widens on the east side of Coppeil Road to 20 additional feet. In addition,
the future road will perhaps take a jog to the east, not requiring additional fight-of-way on the
west side of the road. I think this is what Paragraph 3 refers to. In as much as there is available
additional 20 feet east of Coppell Road at that point, I think this probably will be acceptable to the
City and we can dispose of this mavter as we had originally pined.
I am hoping this will satisfy your needs and we can conclude this matter for all parties concerned.
Again, I greatly appreciate your intervention in our situation ar,.d your assistance and businesslike
approach to our dilemma.
Please advise if this will meet your needs and we will coordinate with the City Attorney to
effectuate the closing of this transaction.
