Dear Ken:
Last week I prepared a letter to Mr. Larry Davis, Chief Inspector
related to the extent of erosion control to be installed on
the project.
According to Ordinance Number 91514, the Developer shall install
erosion control material to ensure that erosion is minimized.
Section 15-8-4-F requires a surety consisting of Cash,
Certificate of Deposit (CD), Bond or Letter of Credit for a
two year period.
Attached is a check in the amount of $2,500.00 or approximately
$5.00 per hay bale to cover 75% damage the first year and 25%
damage the second year.
Per our discussion, you will prepare a document to reserve an
account so that the Developer can recover this money at the
end of the two year period.
