Gentlemen:
You are invited to submit a proposal for construction of pavement
facilities in the subject addition. All labor and materials necessary to
complete the work indicated on the enclosed engineering plans per City of
Coppell Standards and Specifications, should be included in unit prices.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive
formalities in the bidding procedure. Bids will be received until 3:00
p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 1991 and should be addressed to:

Attached is a copy of our estimate of the bid quantities. All work is to
be constructed under Contract with the Owner per Contract Documents
provided by them. Construction staking and grade verification will be
provided by the Owner through Unzicker, Schnurbusch & Associates, Inc.
The Owner reserves the right to backcharge the Contractor for excessive
retesting, restaking and/or reverification. Include in your proposal as
separate line items the cost of payment and performance bonds to the Owner
as well as the required maintenance bond to the City of Coppell. Bids
will not be taken unless a time of construction has been included (in
working days).

provided and maintained by Contractor throughout
construction at his expense. Laydown curbs at all street
intersections to be included in paving unit prices including
special sidewalk at entrance to subdivision ("Streetscape"
Plan).
** The scheduled date to begin paving construction on this site
is October 15, 1991. Please include in your bid your
compliance with this start date and your estimated
completion date.
